The leather on these boots is really nice, more substantial than I expected. I got a graded version, its just a bit more wrinkled on the instep on one shoe, but if you wear your boots, they get wrinkled there anyway. I love the gumlite sole, nice and light. I have a 9.5 EEE brannock foot, and sized up to a 10 EE and it fits fine, leather breaks in anyway. I have a high volume foot so sometimes on chelseas the instep can be tight since there are no laces to loosen. The instep is good on these. Heel is nice and tight and there is decent room at the ball of the foot, wide foot people don't be afraid of the toe shape. your toes won't get that far, and your foot won't slid up cause the ankle is locked in. That stretch gore is tight so you will have to break that in.

Fit is fantastic and they are comfortable out of the box. The same cannot be said for some other brands of lifestyle chelea boots I've purchased.

The boot opening is so small it is very hard for me to get these on. Hoping it gets better over time. I have other chelsea boots with a much larger opening and this is not a problem. Otherwise the construction quality, leather quality, and footbed comfort are all very good.

We're definitely bummed to hear about the tight boot opening making them difficult to get on. Your comparison to other Chelsea boots with larger openings is exactly the kind of feedback our design team needs to hear as we work on fit and functionality.
Hopefully they do loosen up a bit with wear, but we want our boots to be comfortable and easy to use right from day one.
