I love everything about the jeans, t shirts, and jiujitsu gis I've bought from Origin. I was so excited to buy these shoes. Though they are well-constructed, and the look is outstanding, I unfortunately cannot wear them any longer due to a narrow fit. My feet do not require purchasing of wide or extra wide footwear, but these shoes are so tight on the sides that they put extreme pressure on my little toes and the sides of my feet. I thought after a week or so of daily use, they would stretch a bit but unfortunately they did not. I followed the sizing instructions, and length-wise they are great (run big, purchase a half size down). Sadly, I'll have to try to sell these as used. Had they fit well, I would have gladly stopped buying all other brands and hoped to purchase other colors. If Origin eventually makes a wider toe-box, I'll be back for sure!

To say I was excited about finally being able to replace my SOMs with another American made shoe would be an understatement. I was stoked on the look of the shoe and the build quality was what I would expect from Origin based upon past purchases. I followed the recommendation to order a 1/2 size down, and while the length was perfect, I could not wear the shoes as they were too narrow for my wide foot. I wear the Chelsea boot in the EE offering and it fits perfect, even with a thicker work sock. However, even with a thinner sock I wasn't able to make it work. I sadly have to return them and hope wide sizes or a wider toe box becomes available in the future. As soon as that happens, I will order them again.
